Mohammad Yonass Mohmand

Biography

 

Mohammad Yonass Mohmand was born in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He grew up in Kandahar, completed high school there, and pursued university education in Nangarhar and Kabul.

 

Starting with import-export at age 23, he expanded his business internationally to Singapore. In 2002, he launched Shadab Zafar Development Company, which introduced Afghanistan's first private residential housing town in Kabul.

 

Over time, he diversified into construction, transportation, healthcare, agriculture, wholesale markets, and education. He also served as Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) and held roles in SAARC CCI and Pak-Afghan Chamber of Commerce.

 

His service and achievements earned him national honors, including the Ghazi Mir Masjidi Khan Presidential Medal and awards from the Ministry of Education, Parliament, and others.
