Hon. Haji Mohammad Younus Mohmand, Representative of the World Federation for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) in Afghanistan, held a meeting at his office with Haji Khan Mohammad Forotan, President of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Products, Haji Omid Haidari, Head of International Relations of the Chamber, and their accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hon. Haji Mohammad Younus Mohmand welcomed Haji Khan Mohammad Forotan, Haji Omid Haidari, and the accompanying delegation, expressing his appreciation for their visit.
The leadership of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Products congratulated Hon. Haji Mohammad Younus Mohmand on his appointment to his new responsibility and wished him continued success in carrying out his new duties.
The two sides held comprehensive discussions on expanding exports of Afghanistan’s agricultural products, organizing future agricultural exhibitions, and identifying effective ways to increase the presence of Afghan products in European markets.
The meeting also focused extensively on utilizing the extensive network of the World Federation for Economic Development and Foreign Trade across Europe to introduce Afghan agricultural products to European markets, create new export opportunities, and expand trade and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and European countries.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to support the growth of Afghanistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors, increase exports of Afghan agricultural products, organize specialized exhibitions, and create greater opportunities for Afghan products to enter and compete in European markets.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Hon. Haji Mohammad Younus Mohmand expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Haji Khan Mohammad Forotan for his valuable contributions and dedicated services toward the development of Afghanistan’s economy, advancement of the agricultural sector, and strengthening of the country’s private sector.
